to say John Lautner's work is otherworldly, would be the perfect description.
ahead of his time, even by the 21st century standards, Lautner provokes a creative inspiration that, for me, transcends architecture.

ALVARO SIZA
this winter, i took an architecture course over at UCLA.
though i've always appreciated the craft,
it wasn't until i began to wrap my head around the theory,
that i began to see my favorite masters in a new light.
alvaro siza
stands out to me for his complex simplicity and manic elegance.
